Statement Florals for Your London Wedding – Part 1

JE

If you’re looking for a statement feature for your wedding, florals can be a superb way to do this.

Last year, Andi from Twine Floral Co. got in touch to share her concept for a fine art, fashion-focused wedding editorial in London, and I was immediately on board. It wasn’t long before 10-11 Carlton House Terrace had joined the team and Millia London were providing wedding gowns.

I love photographing London weddings. London is filled with picturesque streets and beautiful architecture, so whether you want to choose a wedding venue because of it’s modern elegance or (like Carlton House Terrace), it’s classic features you will be able to craft your dream London wedding.

Andi and her team created two stunning floral installations – one of which you can see here, and the other deserves a feature in its own right…

I always love it when couples decide to make a feature of their venue’s staircase. It’s often one of the first things your guests see when they arrive at your venue, so a stunning staircase installation can set the scene for your guests. It’s also the perfect opportunity for somewhere to be creative with your bridal, groom and couples portraits. Keep scrolling to see the fine art, heirloom imagery we created with Elena and Shaun.

For more from this editorial, watch out for the second part of this blog. If you can’t wait that long, head over to our feature on U.S. wedding blog, The White Wren.
