An Epic Wedding Celebration on Lake Como

Marta & Harneet’s wedding was one for the books and a true pleasure to photograph! Guests flew in from both Europe and the US, so Marta and Harneet opted to extend their wedding celebrations over three days and treat their friends and family to some of the best Lake Como has to offer.

Their wedding day itself took place at Villa Pizzo, on the South Western part of Lake Como. Marta and her bridesmaids enjoyed prosecco upstairs, taking in the views across Lake Como from the balcony, whilst Harneet and his groomsmen toasted with a nip of whiskey and a wander through the villa’s grounds before the ceremony.

Their ceremony itself took place right outside the villa. We had to tackle unpredictable weather throughout the weekend, so staying close to the villa meant shelter was only a moment away if the weather turned. Thankfully, the little rain that fell during their ceremony did nothing to dampen the emotion and joy of the occasion.

For their wedding portraits, we headed down to the dock and boarded a chartered boat to capture some beautiful photographs on Lake Como itself – sheltered from the rain, we captured some beautiful moments of the two of celebrating as newlyweds.

Marta & Harneet’s evening wedding reception was spectacular. They dined under an entirely glass marquee on the water’s edge, before The Gleams Project took to the stage for a night on the dance floor like no other… The atmosphere was electric as everybody hit danced late into the night. What was originally planned as photography and videography coverage until about 10pm was quickly extended to the early hours of the morning to capture their epic celebrations!
