St. Paul’s Cathedral is an iconic church, known worldwide, and it was a joy to capture Alexandra & Henry’s London wedding in the cathedral itself. We created unique bridal portraits for Alexandra in her Suzanne Neville gown with the interiors of St. Paul’s as the backdrop, whilst Henry’s preparations concluded in The Ned.
After their ceremony, we returned to the Cathedral floor for some portraits. Not only is the architecture stunning, the light is wonderfully soft, making it the perfect spot for couples portraits.
After capturing timeless wedding portraits in the church, we continued their portrait session round on the front steps of the cathedral, before joining everybody for their wedding breakfast…
Their wedding breakfast was hosted down the road at The Royal Exchange. Guests arrived by London bus, and were welcomed with champagne and canapés curtesy of Fortnum & Mason. Dinner and stellar speeches were followed by a few final portraits in the streets as the sun set.
